The SAPC (Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter) held their Q2 Chapter Meeting on 20 May. The SAPC chapter meeting today and it was almost a full house, around a 100 attendees. The meeting was also streamed online with a few dozen people attending using the online stream.
The SAPC meeting was almost at full capacity, numbering around 100 attendees. A smaller portion attended virtual via the online streaming capability.
There were 4 speakers from GAC, Woodhouse International, Valaris and Beneple (who also sponsored today’s meeting).
During the meeting, Chapter Chairman, Wayne Bauer, Director of QHSE at Vantage Drilling, also gave an update to the chapters activities, Gareth Burrows, Commercial Director at Allrig, gave an update on the different workgroups and how to get involved. Lastly, Hisham Zebian, IADC’s Vice President of Eastern Hemisphere (pictured below), gave the IADC HQ updates.
