In the last week of August, IADC held its 2021 Well Control Conference of the Americas & Exhibition. Initially planned as an in-person gathering in New Orleans, Louisiana, the conference and exhibition was recently switched to virtual format given the high positivity rate of COVID cases in the city. In this alternative format, the knowledge sharing continued, albeit from a distance.
