IADC Southeast Asia Chapter
The Southeast Asia Chapter (SEAC) is registered as a not-for-profit volunteer association with the Registrar of Societies in Singapore. The Chapter exists to serve the oil and gas drilling community consisting of Drilling Contractors, Oilfield Service Companies, Oilfield Supply Companies, and Operator Companies in the operating region commonly referred to as the Southeast Asia; recognized to include Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, East Timor, Laos and Cambodia.
Quarterly meetings and social networking events are typically rotated throughout the region to best accommodate Members who are spread over many countries.

The IADC SEAC Leadership Committee remains committed to delivering valuable events and initiatives that help members stay connected in the region, as well as collectively address regionwide challenges.
Looking ahead into 2026, we are thrilled to announce the Official Call for Submissions for our fourth annual IADC SEAC 2025 Safety Awards is now open!
What’s New for 2025? 🔄 Based on member feedback, we have updated our program to relaunch the “Best Safety Initiatives Awards” category (replacing the Sustainability category). We want to see the creative, proactive, and life-saving programs you’ve implemented this past year!
Award Categories Include:
✅ Best Statistical Safety Performance – Drilling Contractor Members
- Best Recordable Incident Rates: 2 awards for Companies (1x Offshore, 1x Onshore) and 2 awards for Individual Units (1x Offshore, 1x Onshore).
- Recognition for Years Recordable Incident Free: 2 awards (1x Offshore, 1x Onshore).
✅ Best Safety Initiatives – All Members
- Best Safety Initiatives x3 Awards (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be issued for the most impactful safety initiatives.)
