Dr Lee Hunt: IADC President

Dr Lee Hunt serves as
the Chief Executive of IADC, responsible for managing IADC's worldwide
operations. Before being named President in 1990, his prior Association
positions included Manager for State Government Affairs, Environmental
Affairs and Human Resources. Dr Hunt holds a PhD in political science from
Northwestern University and received his law degree from South Texas College
of Law. |
Brian T Petty: Senior Vice President - Government Affairs

is based in Washington with responsibility for IADC's government affairs
initiatives. Mr Petty holds a law degree from Georgetown University and an
MA in literature from the University of Virginia. He serves as Chairman of
the US Federal Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Automotive Equipment
and Capital Goods (ITAC 2) and co-chairs the Energy Services Coalition,
comprised of companies and trade associations seeking liberalization of
trade in the energy sector. |
Thomas T Terrell: Senior Vice President - Business Development

Thomas T Terrell is IADC
Senior Vice President-Business Development. He has 33 years in publishing,
marketing, and business experience with operating oil companies and service
companies. He has been in charge of petroleum group operations for a major
petroleum industry publishing company. Mr Terrell has extensive experience
in strategic planning, sales management, marketing, and product development.
His responsibilities included leadership of a diverse global sales,
editorial, administrative, and financial staff. Mr Terrell holds a BBA from
the

Directory, for which he is Editor and Publisher. Mr Killalea's
background in petroleum engineering is complemented by several years
experience in technical and business journalism. He graduated with high
honors from the University of California at Davis with a BS in chemical
engineering. |
Steve Kropla: Group Vice President -
Operations & Accreditation

Steve Kropla
is Group Vice President - Operations and Accreditation. He manages the
association's Offshore Affairs, Land Drilling, HSE, and Accreditation and
Certification functions as well as regional operations in North America,
Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
He is also responsible for overall management of IADC's technical committees.
Mr Kropla joined IADC in
1992 after more than 10 years experience in the drilling industry in Alaska
and the lower 48 US states. His duties included health and safety,
training, and responsibility for a broad range of human resources issues.
He holds a BS degree in journalism from
Southern Illinois University and an MS in human resources management and
development from Chapman University in Orange, California. Mr Kropla is a
Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. |
Ken Fischer: Regional Vice President - Middle East & Asia

Ken Fischer
serves as the Association’s Regional Vice President for Middle East & Asia. In this
capacity, he serves as liaison with Middle East and Asian members and
chapters, as well as provide assistance with IADC programs, membership,
conference development and publications. Mr Fischer will also provide staff
support for the Drilling Services and Technology Division and the Contracts
Committee. He has broad drilling industry experience, particularly in
operations, administration and contracts. He holds a BBA in marketing from
the University of Texas, Austin. |

Alan Spackman: Vice President - Offshore
Technical and Regulatory Affairs

Alan Spackman
is Vice President of Offshore Technical and Regulatory Affairs. His
responsibilities involve participation in industry standards organizations
and responding to international regulatory proposals. He is IADC's
representative to the International Maritime Organization. Mr Spackman
joined the Association after retiring from the US Coast Guard, where he held
the rank of Commander. He received a masters degree in naval architecture
and marine engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of
Science from the United States Coast Guard Academy. |
John Pertgen: Assistant Director - Offshore Technical and Regulatory
Affairs

John
Pertgen plans for and responds
to IADC technical and regulatory initiatives and serves as liaison to IADC
committees and work groups. He was previously a compliance/regulatory
superintendent for an offshore drilling company. He has experience managing
regulatory and compliance issues associated with daily operations, repair
and modifications to more than 60 mobile offshore drilling units. He also
has tracked, scheduled and coordinated all regulatory inspections and
surveys with regulatory agencies, rigs, crews and third-party contractors.
He earned a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a
Bachelor of Science with a HRM concentration from the University of the
State of New York.

Joe Hurt: Regional Vice President North
America and Lead Staff Land HSE Issues

Joe Hurt
Regional Vice President North America and Lead Staff Land HSE Issues is responsible for the Land Division, HSE Committee, including the IADC Accident Statistics Program, and the
Drilling and Well Servicing Structures Task Force. While being
employed by Noble Drilling Mr Hurt was Chairman of the IADC Environmental
Affairs Committee and was active in the Accident Prevention, Human Resources
and Training Committees. Mr Hurt holds a BS in Education from
Dickinson State College. |

Dominic Cattini: Senior Director -

Dominic Cattini
serves as IADC's Senior Director, European Operations. Based in London. Mr
Cattini has broad experience in E&P regulation, HSE and petroleum
engineering. Mr Cattini earned his bachelor of science degree in electrical
and electronic engineering from City University in London, and post-graduate
diplomas in fire engineering, occupational health and safety from Southwark
College, also London. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in
management of safety and health from Technical University Delft. |

Brenda Kelly: Director - Accreditation and Certification

Brenda Kelly
directs all operations of IADC accreditation programs,
including development, implementation, communications, operations and
administration. She formerly served as training coordinator with the
University of Texas Petroleum Extension Service (PETEX). She has a Ph.D. in
Engineering Science from Louisiana State University, an MS degree in Water
Resources Engineering from Clemson University and a BS degree in Education
from the University of Tennessee.
