IADC Names New Officers

Houston, 3 January, 2012 – Daniel W. Rabun, Chairman, President and CEO, Ensco, plc, has been elected 2012 Chairman of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). In addition, David W. Williams, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, Noble Corporation, was elected Vice Chairman. Messrs Rabun and Williams will head up IADC’s 2012 leadership team, which includes the following newly elected officers:

  • Secretary-Treasurer: Scott Daniels, Atwood Oceanics, Director – Financial Reporting
  • President: Lee Hunt, International Association of Drilling Contractors
  • Executive Vice President – Government Affairs: Brian T. Petty, International Association of Drilling Contractors
  • Vice President, Land Division: Ronnie Witherspoon, Superior Well Services, a Nabors Company, President
  • Vice President, Offshore Division: Thomas P. Burke, Rowan Companies, Chief Operating Officer
  • Vice President, Drilling & Well Services Division: David Reid, National Oilwell Varco, Senior Vice President Global Accounts and Chief Sales Officer
