Stability & Ballast Control of Mobile Offshore Units (MOU) Ballast Control Operator Certification Programme |
IADC, in conjunction with the Nautical Institute, has developed a standard for a comprehensive ballast control/stability training course based on IMO Assembly Resolution A.891(21). The course is also the starting point for a certification scheme for Ballast Control Operators (BCO). The program was officially launched on 1 March 2005.
