Offshore Operating Division
The Offshore Operating Division is one of three Divisions established by the Association By-Laws. In accordance with the Association By-Laws, various Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups are organized under the auspices of the Offshore Operating Division to respond to membership needs. These primarily focus on providing guidance to facilitate safe, efficient and environmentally sensitive operations and to address regulatory initiatives and technical standards development activities that are not within the scope of activities of IADC’s Standing Committees.
The IMO Subcommittee pages provide information on an on-going basis relating to IADC’s activities relating to its recognition as a non-governmental observer at the International Maritime Organization. This includes agendas for forthcoming IMO meetings, IMO-prepared reports on the outcome of IMO meetings, and IADC-prepared summaries of the results of meetings focusing on issues likely to impact offshore oil and gas exploration and production operations.
As other Subcommittees and Task Groups are established, information relevant to their operations is added.
