Since 1940, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) has exclusively represented the worldwide oil and gas drilling industry.


Ethics Committee

Mission Statement

The mission of the IADC Ethics Committee is to foster the understanding and compliance with U.S. and international laws, including but not limited to laws pertaining to corruption, bribery and import/export.  The committee will also promote the highest standards of ethics within the drilling industry by providing a forum for sharing strategies designed to promote ethical behavior.  Through shared best practices, the committee will work to educate its members on developments in principles of ethics and applicable laws as well as trends in enforcement.

Authorization and Accountability

The IADC Ethics Committee is headed by it’s Chairman, James Sanislow, Noble Drilling Services, Inc.  Brian Petty, IADC Executive VP – Government Affairs, reports to the IADC Board of Directors regarding the committee’s activities.
