The inaugural IADC Critical Issues Middle East 2011 Conference & Exhibition was a successful event for the Middle East drilling industry. We are pleased to announce the ”Critical Issues Middle East 2012 Conference & Exhibition”. Critical Issues are market, technology and commercial factors shaping business today and tomorrow. These factors present either opportunities or challenges to the global drilling industry. Regional operations have their own unique requirements and IADC’s Critical Issues Middle East will explore those opportunities and challenges important in the region. Mark your calendar for the conference that will be held 20-21 November 2012 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai.
General subject themes envisioned for the event include the following:

For consideration, an abstract for each proposed presentation must be submitted to IADC no later than 28 May 2012. Abstracts should include recommended or proven solutions whenever possible. Please include a statement of why you see the topic as a “Critical Issue” in the Middle East region. Authors of selected presentations may be asked to participate in panel discussions. Authors of papers selected will receive confirmation emails and guidelines by Mid June 2012. Formal papers are not required, but will be posted along with conference proceedings if provided.

The cost of each 6m2 (3 x 2 m) space is $2,750.
The booth will be set with a skirted table, two chairs, access to electricity and a fascia with company name. With the space, you receive one complimentary conference registration and up to two additional registrations at half price or $425.
Exhibitions at IADC events will be limited to showcasing products and services that advance technology, competency or HSE. Exhibitions centered on recruitment or employment should not take space at IADC events.
