“Drilling Systems Automation Roadmap – A Pathway into the Future”

15 September 2014; 12.00-17.00 hours, Moody Gardens Hotel

The Drilling Systems Automation Roadmap (DSA) Workshop, jointly organized by the IADC ART Committee and the DSA Roadmap Cross Industry Initiative Committee, will share the status of the DSA Roadmapping initiative and seek input from attendees. This roadmap will become an industry tool to guide management decisions and investment in this emerging technology. It is an opportunity to learn from those developing the roadmap and have an impact on its development. This half day workshop will take place the day before the 2014 IADC Advanced Rig Technology Conference & Exhibition, the leading forum to explore the state of the art in rig technology.   In order to serve IADC’s worldwide membership, the workshop will first be held in Vienna, Austria prior to the IADC World Drilling Conference & Exhibition in June. We will then host the same workshop prior to the IADC Advanced Rig Technology Conference & Exhibition in Galveston, Texas in September.

The workshop will be held from 12:00 – 5:00 pm on 15 September. A light lunch is included for the $125 registration fee. (NOTE: Workshop registration fee is separate from that for IADC Advanced Rig Technology Conference & Exhibition.)
