IADC has been granted consultative status as a Non-Governmental Organization to represent the interests of its membership before the International Maritime Organization.  IADC relies on consultation with its members to ensure that positions adopted in IMO are developed with full knowledge of relevant IADC views.  The intention of the information presented here is to ensure that all IADC member companies and organizations are afforded access to information on IMO proceedings and, where appropriate, have access to original documents.  We aim to make this information available as promptly as possible within the limits of our resources.  Due to the large number of documents typically submitted for consideration by the IMO, except for documents of exceptional interest to the membership, pre-decisional documents are typically not posted; however, these can be made available upon request.

Some sections of this website are password protected.  Access to documents which are password protected is only available to representatives of IADC member companies and organizations.  Representatives of such companies and organizations can request the password to open protected documents by contacting Alan Spackman or Holly Shock at IADC Headquarters.
