Mission Statement The mission of the IADC Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee is to provide a forum to exchange the best practices of Committee members and to disseminate those practices to the IADC membership; to structure the performance measures of the industry and assist the IADC in their promotion and publication; and to serve as a channel for members, government agencies, manufacturers and customers to interact to improve the performance of the industry in matters relating to occupational safety and health, and environmental affairs. The functions of the Committee include:
Health, Safety & Environment Committee Structure A member appointed by the Chairman of IADC will chair the HSE Committee. The Committee Chairman may at his discretion appoint a reasonable number of Committee Vice-Chairmen to oversee specific disciplines or issues (e.g., land safety issues, environmental practices, specific regulatory issues, etc.) General meetings are open to all categories of IADC membership. At the discretion of the chairperson, vice-chairmen, and IADC staff, meetings or portions thereof may be exclusively reserved for Drilling Contractor Members. Committee Meetings Policy General meetings are open to all categories of IADC membership. At the discretion of the chairperson and IADC staff, meetings or portions thereof may be exclusively reserved for Drilling Contractor Members.
