IADC has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS) certification for "The Development of Drilling Industry Training Standards and the Accreditation of Training Providers."

IADC's QMS system is registered with Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a company long recognized by the drilling industry as having a reputation for thoroughness, quality and credibility.

Drawing on its more than 65 years of experience in the industry, IADC operates specially-designed accreditation programs that are recognized throughout the world. These have been developed to ensure that the contents of critical training programs adhere to recognized industry standards:

WellCAP® -- an accreditation system for well control training providers, requiring demonstrated adherence to an industry-developed core curriculum. Curriculum is available for drilling, workover & completion, coiled tubing, snubbing, wireline operations and underbalanced operations.
WellCAP Plus® -- a new approach to facilitated learning focused on experienced personnel utilizing a facilitated learning approach intended to improve critical team decision-making and problem-solving skills.
*HSE RIG PASS® -- an accreditation system for oilfield service contractor safety orientation programs. UBO RIG PASS*® -- an accreditation system for underbalanced operations safety orientation programs.
Ballast Control and Stability -- Combined accreditation and certification systems for marine training to meet flag state licensing requirements for Offshore Installation Managers (OIM), Barge Supervisors (BS) and Ballast Control Operators (BCO). Operated in conjunction with the international Nautical Institute based in London.
Competence Assurance -- accreditation for a company's Competence Assurance program that meets required quality standards and ensures they have a competent workforce.
Drilling Industry Training -- accreditation system for a company's custom - designed course that focuses on specialized practical knowledge and skills. IADC Industry Training Center designation granted after five courses accredited through DIT.
